Leah, Joe and Baby M

Watching one of my friends experience pregnancy for the first time is such an amazing thing. Being able to photograph my friend at 8 months pregnant with her first child is a blessing that I will never forget. Leah and I have been friends for years now and for years I would jokingly ask her if she was pregnant yet or when it was going to happen.  About 8 months ago I met Leah for lunch. It was a normal lunch date or so I thought. We talked about work, life, mutual friends, etc. Somewhere in the midst of talking I did what I usually do and brought up the subject of  her getting pregnant. I about choked on my food when she told me she actually was!  Now she is about one month away from becoming a mommy and I can’t even tell you how excited I am to meet the little guy! Leah, Joe and I spent some time this weekend taking photos both in my natural light studio and around various places in Fargo. Spending the day with them was super fun and I even got to feel the baby move in Leah’s tummy! I can’t wait to do it all over again in a month…this time with the little guy 🙂
