I am still trying to get back into the groove of working after the holidays. I was blessed to be able to travel with my family to Colorado for the holidays. My older sister and nephew have lived there for years so I enjoy every trip we make out there. It was so strange to me to not have to worry about putting in for PTO at work and worrying about all the stuff waiting for me when I returned. I know I have been full time photography for a few months now but that doesn’t erase the years of working around the clock for someone else.
We are 14 days into the new year. I have to say, I think this is going to be my best year yet! I am still on a “high” from going to full time photography. Things are just going SO well and I am so excited to wake up each morning and head into the studio. This is exactly where I am supposed to be at this point in my life. I thought life couldn’t possibly get any better….I was wrong. On December 31, I met the most amazing man. I debated as to whether or not I should even talk about him on this blog but then figured that no matter where this relationship goes, I wanted the world to know that I am absolutely head over heels for Jesse. He truly is everything I have ever wanted in a mate and I look forward to every moment I get to spend with him. He most definitely was worth the 33 year wait! I absolutely thank God for all of the blessings he has brought into my life the past few months, including Jesse. The future is full of possibility and that’s SO exciting to me!
Oh, and I suppose I can’t do a blog post without sharing some photos. Below are a few photos I took of my nephew over the holidays while we were in Colorado. I love this “little” guy so much! He really isn’t into photos but will kind of cooperate long enough for me to get a few great ones…but that is only because I bribe him with the promise of new Lego sets if he does. haha
heatherThese photos are amazing! We need to catch up soon.
